Why choose glass for a custom project?

Is glass safe?
The glass used is tempered and is totally safe and approved by the National Building Code of Canada (NBC). Tempered glass is heated to very high temperatures and then air-cooled, making it stronger and providing safe fragmentation characteristics. It is 4 to 5 times stronger than non-tempered glass, and has a long service life. What’s more, in the event of breakage, tempered glass fragments into small, non-cutting pieces, reducing the risk of injury compared with ordinary glass, which shatters into large, sharp fragments.

What are the advantages of tempered glass?
Aesthetics : It is often used in high-end projects for its smooth, transparent appearance, which creates a beautiful luminosity and effect of grandeur.
Thermal resistance: Tempered glass withstands temperature variations well, making it suitable for environments exposed to wide temperature variations.
Where is your glass made?
Our glass is specially made to order in Bois-Des-Filion and Laval.
Do you offer guardrails / fences with spigots?
Yes! We take care to cut the panels to match the level and space of your environment. They are all aligned both horizontally and vertically. Each of our projects is unique and adapted to your structure. Our panels can measure up to 143” (11.10′) and are joined with reinforcing clips to ensure your safety. This high-end look allows a better view of your landscaping because it’s less obstructed by hardware.
Cut for steps with spigots :
Our panels have “notches” at the bottom opposite each spigot (mini-tab) to prevent them from slipping over time, making them extremely safe. Our aim is to offer you a long-term installation!

MAINTENANCE
How do I clean tempered glass?
Use a microfiber or soft cloth and a natural cleaner such as a mixture of vinegar, hot water and dishwashing liquid. Be sure not to use abrasive products or harsh chemicals that could damage the glass surface.
